Travel to the Venue
By plane
There are three major international airports in Taiwan:
- Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), located in Taoyuan County, approximately 80 km from Miaoli.
- Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH) in Kaohsiung, approximately 240 km from Miaoli.
- Taipei SongShan International Airport (TSA), which is located at Taipei city, approximately 120 kilometers from Miaoli.
By bus
Take Miao-Li bound Feng-Yuan/Hsin-Chu Bus Company Joint Operation Buses, Kuo-Kuang Buses, or United Highway Buses and get off at the Nan-Miao stop. Then, take a 10-minute walk up the hill. Instead of walking, you can catch the Hsin-Chu Bus Company Buses - Hou-Li, San-Yi, Tong-Luo, Hsin Ji-Long lines – at the Nan-Miao stop; the buses will take you right to the entrance of the University.
By train
Take the train and get off at Miao-Li station, and then take a taxi to the school (the distance from the train station to the campus is approximately 3.4 km, so the taxi fare will be around 120 ~ 150 NTD), or take the Hsin-Chu Bus Company Buses - Hou-Li, San-Yi, Tong Luo, Hsin Ji-Long lines – from Miao-Li station; the buses will take you straight to the front gate of the University.
By car
Take National Highway #1: Exit at the Miao-Li interchange (132 KM). After exiting, turn in the Miao-Li direction (get on Provincial Expressway 6). After passing the Kwei-Shan Bridge, go under the overpass to the intersection of Provincial 6 and 13. Turn right at the junction (Miao-Li interchange) and go straight (from Miao-Li interchange to the school is around 3.5 km).
Take National Highway #3: Exit at the Hou-Long interchange (129 km). After exiting, turn in the Miao-Li direction (get on Provincial Expressway 6) and stay on the Provincial Expressway 6 (from Hou-Long interchange to the school is around 4 km).
